Recycling Today for a Greener Tomorrow
Plastics Recycling Process
Step one:
Plastics are collected & sent to a recycling facility to sort according to their plastic type.
Step TWO:
Individual plastics type will be crushed into smaller bits & pieces and blended to form a mixture of uniform homogenous quality.
Step THREE:
The blended mixture is melted and passed through a filter screen to form strands. This is known as the extrusion process.
Step FOUR:
After cooling, the plastic strands are cut into small pallets to be used as raw material for other products.
